How early should I arrive for my first class?
It is required to arrive at least 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start of class so you can meet your instructor and receive a rundown of the reformer.
LATE ENTRY IS NOT PERMITTED FOR NEW CLIENTS.
When you arrive, please check in directly with the instructor so that you are marked as present for class.
Do I need to create an account?
YES! In order to ensure a reformer is reserved, book your bed in advance. We are a cashless studio.
Your first class is only $20! BTW – We are also on ClassPass.
How old do I need to be to take class?
Clients must be 16 years or older to participate in class. Clients 16 and 17 years old must participate in class with a parent or legal guardian.
Are grip socks required?
Nope! Grip socks are optional. Feel free to take class barefoot. We do not sell grip socks in the studio, but here is the link to our favorite: https://bellagrip.com
What should I wear to class?
Grip socks are optional. Wear your favorite moisture-wicking top and form-fitting bottoms. Matching set optional.
Note: All clients are required to wear a top at all times. No shoes are allowed on the Reformer.
Do you have water? Should I bring my own?
Save the planet, and bring your own water bottle! If you forget, we have recyclable water cups and filtered water stations at each studio.
What to expect
I've never taken a Reformer class before. Is this beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Every signature Reformer: All Levels class offers layers options for Newbies and advanced progressions and challenges for Pros, so everyone leav feeling the Boost Burn.
Our knowledgeable instructors are trained to offer modifications for minor injuries and low-risk pregnancies if you have been cleared by your doctor to take class. Inform your instructor of any pre-existing condition(s) prior to the start of class.
What makes Boost different from every other Pilates class I've ever taken?
Think: low-impact, high-intensity Reformer classes vs. Pilates.
Boost blends Pilates-inspired movements with the power of strength training through the reformer's spring resistance and weighted props to keep each exercise compound to challenge the body and mind.
The result? Total body Boost Burn that sculpts, sweats and strengthens every time. You'll feel the difference, and you'll keep coming back for it.
Heads up: This is NOT classical Pilates. And we like that way!
Pregnancy and injury
Do you offer any Pre or Post Natal classes?
All of our classes are all-levels. Our knowledgeable instructors are all trained to offer modifications for each trimester during pregnancy and postpartum. We welcome pregnant clients to join us for class if they have been cleared by their doctor.
Pro tip:
Best practice is to avoid starting something new when pregnant. If you've been coming to Boost prior to your pregnancy, keep coming! If you're looking to start Reformer Pilates while pregnant, we recommend clarifying with your doctor which type of Pilates (classical, contemporary, high-intensity). Most doctors recommend classical Pilates when pregnant. NOTE: WE ARE NOT CLASSICAL PILATES.
I'm working through an injury. Can I attend class?
Always follow your doctor's advice! If you've been cleared to workout, feel free to join us for class. Listen to your body and take breaks as needed. Notify your instructor of your injury before the start of class so that they can offer modifications throughout class.
Note: if your injury is large and limits your ability to perform our typical movements in class, we recommend scheduling a private directly with your favorite instructor.
Phone and content policy
What's your cell phone policy during class?
Phones must be silenced and stashed during class for the safety and privacy of everyone. No filming or photos during class.
We love your content! Just be sure to capture it before or after class, and be mindful of the privacy of others.

How to join our team
I'm interested in becoming an instructor at Boost! What should I do next?
Congrats on taking your first step in becoming a Boost instructor! Fill out this short form to join our Instructor Training Waitlist. While our next training hasn't been planned, we're always searching for amazing people to join our team. Our strongest instructors typically begin as strong clients!
What does your training program look like to become an instructor?
We do not require any prior teaching experience – We'll teach you everything you need to know!
In order to audition, all potential trainees are required to have taken at least 10 BOOST classes to ensure they are familiar with our format.
Once trainees pass auditions, there are two mandatory weekends that all trainees must attend. After the training weekends, trainees have roughly 3 months to complete training.
We encourage trainees to be prepared to be in the studio practicing and/or taking class and/or observing class 5-10 hours each week from passing auditions until the end of training.
All-in, training is roughly 200 hours.
Are you hiring any front desk positions?
None of our studios actually have a front desk! Our instructors are the star of the show – they run check-in, they teach the class, and they are the cleaning crew after their own class block.
While we're always looking for instructors to join our ever-growing team, we do not hire front desk positions.
I have my Pilates/Reformer certification and/or instructing experience from another studio. Do I still need to go through Boost training?
All Boost instructors complete our training program to ensure they’re confident, consistent, and aligned with the Boost method. If you’re looking to start teaching right away or after a single training weekend, our studio likely isn’t the best match.

What is your late entry policy?

Existing clients must arrive no later 4 minutes and 59 seconds past the start of class. If you are 5 minutes late, you will not be permitted into class.
What is your waitlist policy?
If you're on the waitlist, please be prepared to take the class. If you no longer wish to be added, remove yourself from the waitlist to free the spot for someone else.
Clients on the waitlist will be automatically added into class up to 30 minutes before the start of class. You’ll receive a notification through your preferred communication method once you’re added. Make sure transactional text messages are turned ON to receive these alerts. Go to profile > settings to update your preferences.
If you are added into class within 9 hours of the start time and choose to cancel, this will be treated as a late cancellation and will result in loss of class.
If you do NOT wish to take the class, remove yourself from the waitlist before you are added.
If a spot opens within 30 minutes of the start of class, you will not be automatically added into class. You will receive a notification that a spot has opened, and you may add yourself manually if you’d still like to take the class.
If you choose to show up and are still on the waitlist at class start time, you must arrive no later than 1 minute before class and check in with the instructor. We must hold reserved spots for booked clients for 5 minutes. Waitlisted clients may be permitted to join up to 6 minutes after c
Can I bring my child / dog / plus one to class? As much as we love a well-behaved sidekick, our classes are reserved for clients only. No guests, kiddos or pets permitted in the studio.
